NC1 files and Autodesk Inventor

Hello, we are using Autodesk Inventor and our vendors are requesting NC1 files for cutting and coping our wide flange beams. We have been struggling to find a file extension to create these NC1 files from our DXF files. One the flip side we are also struggling to convert NC1 files to DXF files when our clients provide them to us so that we can view the material before it's processed.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.
