Hello, I’m a cnc hobbyist, I currently have a partner 1, series h, with a yuasa 4th (currently running an external control box). I’ve recently purchased a haas t5c (210mm 4th, with a ha5c bolted to the face as a 5th. I joined to ask for insight as to options for integrating the 4th and 5th into the control. It’s currently running a centurion V, i’ve upgraded the motherboard myself, using an adaptech backplane and adaptech pentium 4 sbc with an ide ssd, running dos 6.22.

Good day everyone,
I have just added a Fastcut CNC table to our shop, and have spent the last couple of weeks getting familiar with it by cutting out signage and other smaller projects. It works great, and very impressed with the overall performance. Now that we are comfortable with creating and cutting designs, i intend to start advertising for plasma table cutting work, however i would like an accurate way to estimate the work, to include both the cutting and design time. Does any one know of any programs or spreadsheets that can be used for this?
Thanks
Bonjour à tous.
Je m'appelle ISSAM. Je suis très heureux d'être ici. merci

Hi there! I am very new to CNC and currently looking at buying a small partly finished mill to play around with but need some advice on the controller it is supplied with. Where is the best place on here to post my question?
This is the control unit
I run a small business for model engineers in the UK providing super scale detail fittings and castings and looking to start using a CNC mill for small repetitive jobs and really just to learn more about it.
Thanks!
Adam

Hello, I'm totally new at everything related to CNC, laser engraving, and (unfortunately) coding. I'm mostly a hobbyist, and I bought myself a surprisingly nice little machine to do CNC milling and laser engraving on a small platform and I'm having fun with it as I learn. so far I've etched some designs onto a small range of materials (unfortunately the actual CNC functions are beyond me right now, but the laser is useful) but I'm hitting that point where I have to reach out for help.
My ultimate goal with this machine is to use the laser engraver to make some neat gifts for people (or even sell some things and earn a little extra cash), and see where things go from there if I'm able to pick things up without much difficulty. I'll be making a thread pretty soon with more information about my machine and what I'm trying to get it to do. Thanks and I look forward to seeing what I can learn!
Mach 3 and standard fanuc code inch —is Where I started in 2000. ,,if u need any manuals or any free advice please let me know
New here, looking into getting a CNC plasma table. I am a chassis builder, engine builder, tuner, machinist, welder and fabricator
Step 1. Stay away from all sales men
step 2 . Find the post processor first
step 3. Shop intelligently (search for 6 -8 months first)
never buy a used Cnc that is not under power and cannot be seen reference home.
hi ppl! not really new to cnc, want to try and build my first self built one. used to have a gerber and a shopsabre, both gone now oh, and name is Alex
