    HELLO EVERYBODY IN THE FORUM CLUB HOUSE . I HAVE CHANGED THE PANASONIC AC SERVO MOTOR MODEL NR."MQMA042A1E"WITH CONNECTION CABLE ON A DRIVE MODEL NR."MQDA043A1A"THE AXIS ON ANY MODE ,HOME ,MPG,MDI AFTER TURNING IN CIRCLE 28.DEGREE IT IS GIVING ME "ERROR COUNTER OVERFLOW" I PUSH THE RESET BUTTON IT 'S TURNING JUST 28 DEGREES AGAIN AND GIVING SAME SAME ALARM ON THE CONTROLLER ONLY .THE DRIVER SHOWING NO ERROR .

    Rather late reply, but might help someone.

    Probably dirt/dust on encoder disk.
    Carefully try a little air across the encoder disk. No chemicals or brushes!!

    Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. THREE ways to fix things: The RIGHT way, the OTHER way, and maybe YOUR way, which is possibly a FASTER WRONG WAY!
