I know this isn't exactly the right forum for this, but I'm already signed up so thought I would give it a go.

I'm planning on building a small power hacksaw, but I'm really struggling to find a sensible power source.
Ideally, I'd like something off the self I can just plug in and go, so no pulley or gears to setup, and ideally 12v or 24v.
The operating speed will be somewhere around 80 to 120RPM.

There are plenty of geared dc motors on ebay, but they are tiny, and I can't find anything bigger.
Based on a completely estimated 200N cutting force, and a 50mm lever arm, I need something around 2Nm.

Iv got a couple of 12v and 24v PSU lying around so I'd like to make use of them. 240v AC scares me a bit, but if that's my only option then I don't mind using it.
Any suggestions?
