Need help with Blohm profimat cnc grinder

Hello.
Have a very old "cnc" machine that my company bought in '94. I've been running some of the programs that are basic and used for surface grinding but would like to learn to program the dressing cycles to do form grinding. I can't find any info on this and need help with setting up and the best way to approach the diamonds. Controller is a Siemens sunimerik 810g Thanks in advance.

Hi Joe;

We just bought a 1991 Blohm-Jung Profimat and sort of have the same issues....

Seems United grinding in Ohio has a choke hold on servicing these machines, dispensing "wisdom".

Have you had any luck elsewhere?

Hi Lenn,
Sorry for the delay. Can't say that I have had any luck. Seems that united grinding are the holders of information regarding these machines, but I have learned some new things. What are you needing to know, perhaps I can help you?
