If you're going through all the trouble of making this thing, why not use something more attractive than MDF, like some kind of real wood? In MDF it won't just be ugly; it will also be quite weak, in the thin sections.

Awerby thank you very much for your advices, but I plan to do this in laser, in Argentina is difficult to get other wood attractive..
In that case, use a thin plywood, which cuts easily with a laser. It will look better than the MDF version, and be a lot stronger. Acrylic plastic also cuts well that way, and would be better than MDF too.
