Switcher,
Just checked your site and I really appreciate the new addition of the drawing type listing (scroll down from the current DXF download page). It really makes looking for a type of DXF file ease, ie: christmas, snowflakes, ect.
Keep up the good work you are very much appreciated. :rainfro:

Did you do that text with a mouse or scan in some drawings or....???
Here is a set that I did...I find that using inkscape and creating a dxf of
preferred texts such as cursive or bubble letters makes them easier to manipulate...as opposed to using common fonts as stored in the computer.
My cad cam software anyway, you can't delete just part of a letter to tie it into something(Such as making cursive script tie together)...using the dxf file as created in inkscape, you can delete line segments easily.
These letters look kinda sloppy, but the are really neat when pocketed out on a mill.....they look like spray can grafiti...

I did all that by hand with Inkscape.
I did the font in 2 parts, the upercase "T" I did first (italic font), then added the flourish effect to the upper left of the "T", stretched the "T" to the far right.
Then did the "ractor" in a lowercase font, stretched the lowercase "t" to do a union with the uppercase "T".
I also put the "ractor" text on a small arc.
Added the 2 lines under the text, created 2 rectangles to make the border.

Anyone know how this thing goes together? Can you post a picture?

I'm not 100% sure this is a pic of the same 3D dragonfly model?
Maybe it will help?

Have a look.
