Was looking to see if anybody has a dxf or dwg of this alternate blackhawks logo. I've found the standard chiefs head, but I wanted to try to incorporate this one into a project for a friend.

I posted in here before and had great luck having an image converted from jpeg to dxf. I am hoping to duplicate that experience again. I have three jpegs i could like to convert to dxf so i can cut them out on a plasma table as graduation gifts.

You can use a free program called Inkscape, I found a lot of tutorials on YouTube on how to use it.

Guess these were cheating - hand typed the G Code. Working on the skull - if anybody knows a shortcut to creating code for a 1.125 x 0.750 Punisher skull, I'm listening. Haven't had any luck thus far creating from an image.

Bitmap images can be inserted into auto cad then traced into dwg files. Use a different layer for the image so it can be turned off. Once traced in you can scale it to what ever size you need and export at dxf. There is a program called trace art that will do this but doesn't do well with gradients.

Here's a Punisher skull dxf, it's not my work, I probably downloaded it from this thread

Similar options are available in BobCAD (BobArt) and CorelDraw as well. Bigger really is better when it comes to a bitmap for tracing / vectorizing

An attempt was made. I even tried to google a better source picture with not a lot of luck. This may be a good starting point, please look over closely before cutting a large piece.

You need to find larger pictures. Try someone at that unit maybe or the wikipage for that unit.
