What are the legalities on taking the design of someone else without their permission?

Not trying to cause a fuss, just curious.

    It depends on:
[A] What country you are in
[B] What country the author is in
[C] If you believe it's ok to steal his/her work

Most people who think [C] is ok, wont worry about the legalities I guess.

Do you mean one of the 4x4's with huge tires?

    Default Thanksgiving Prayer Table artwork

I saw somewhere before, but cant find it again, but there was a scene of a bunch of people around a long table, holding hands and praying. Wondered if anyone has that artwork, or if you know where I can get it? I thought I saw it on Plasmacam, but cant find it now. I need the .dxf file.

    Thanks!

    Default Longhorn Head

Does anyone have the artwork for a 3 dimentional longhorn head, the kind that there are pieces you cut, and they interlock with each other to make an image? I have seen the dinasour and eagle on here, but wanted to see if anyone has the longhorn head. Thanks!

There are a couple of jeep type ones on the stock sites, but this was the only real rock crawler I found, and there's obviously issues with nicking the design.

    Hello,

Here is a quick trace of your posted picture that I scaled up to 7' long.
I did not do any editing to clean or make it ready for cutting.

thanks for the image. i just may end up using that one. i have found these two prior to posting here. after reading through some of the dxf posts i decided to download inkscape and try it out. problem being when i save an image as a dxf and i try to import into solidworks the screen in solidworks dxf importer is blank like the file is empty. every file i have tried that anyone on this site has posted works fine in solidworks, just the ones i try to convert dont. my bro has tried converting them before in adobe illustrator and we have been fighting that all week with the same outcome..... the ol' blank page!!!!

The only way I have found to get a dxf file to work into SW was to use the inkscape program and then don't use the file save as*.dxf, but rather get the one from here, Inkscape R12 Dxf - DXF R12 - Free Cnc Dxf Vectors
Switcher is the one who came up with it. He is on here, I believe a Moderator, There are instructions on His site on how to use it. It does work, and it works good.
