Here is an SVG file of the same image, already in vector format.
It would need a lot of work to make it laser ready.

This safety sign might be a good addition to your plasma cutting area.

Hey everyone,
A quick post to let everyone know I have a new site dedicated to more vector files.
The reason I started this new site was to move away from Blogger. Blogger has been great & served me well, I just need more space to allow the site to grow.
I have the new site up & running now. I still have a lot of work to do, so bare with me while I get things settled down on the site & into a regular posting schedule.
This new site will include both DXF & SVG files.
I only have a few files uploaded as of today, still each file is ready for downloading.
Here is the new site ( Vectorink.com ), hope you enjoy the site.
Please let me know If you have any questions or comments about the new site.
Thanks,

Hello gentlemen,
Here are tested following file.

That looks like it is going to be a seriously sweet site switcher.
Will you continue to add to your old site or concentrate on the new one?
I have a perennial question.
Is there any software or process which will take a double line in a DXF and make a line right up the middle?
I've uploaded an example. I don't need it done to this DXF, I'm looking for an easy way to do it.
I've used "offset" with various distances and trimmed, trimmed, trimmed. It's almost easier to zoom in and trace up the middle, a process which can take hours.
Just trying to pick peoples brains and see if there is an easier way.
Switcher, your new site looks great. Thanks for all your contributions.
While back somebody compiled a list with all of the dxf files posted here. I did saved the list somewhere but now I can't find it. Can somebody point me in the right direction. Tanks.
My 2¢
Could someone please convert this for me im using photo draw and the results I get is really bad. im not sure what this.. maybe a fence or a fireplace screen, but someone sent it to me and ask if I could cut it. any help would be great! thanks guys
Wanda
Thanks, glad you like the new site!
I still have a lot of work to do on the new site, I'm working on a large batch of Christmas files today & will try to get them uploaded to the new site ASAP.
About the older DXF site...
For now I want to focus on the new site & get things running as smooth as possible. It's a lot of work upfront.
I will leave the old site up & running as an archive for now, moving all those old files would be a huge job (594 - DXF files). I will leave them for anyone that hasn't had a chance to download them yet, I'm sure new guys are getting into cnc everyday.
My goal when I first started posting files a couple of years ago was to help other members that didn't know how to create dxf files, or didn't have the software to help them. That's still the same goal only I want to expand the with the new site.
New site...
With this new site I have a lot more freedom to do what I want. I hope to at least double the size of the old site, with all new DXF & SVG files.
Each file download will include both the SVG & DXF so once it's downloaded you can have a couple of options as to what software you can make any edits.
Example, the SVG files will work with Inkscape (free). The DXF will work with almost any Sofware that supports R12 DXF files, which is just about all of the software I've ever tested. It's the one thing most CAD has in common is the R12 version.
I was going to include an EPS file with each download, & decided not to do that since SVG will open in most major vector design software. I'm trying to keep the download file size on the new site, as small as possible.

Switcher, sounds like no new files are going on to your old site. I'll just switch to checking your new one every weekend. Maybe IF you ever take the old one down you could just make a big zip file of all the DXF's and make it available on the new one if that works for you. That would be a really nice start for a newby.
Thanks once again for all the files and help you have given us all.
