For anyone that has a blog, website, etc..., I did write a couple of plugins, for "Windows Live Writer"
1) Media Player
2) Mp3 Player
I have a couple more that I've started, (Google maps, & another video player)

Hey, Dan
I've posted 17 files on my blog for this month, I don't post everything here, it takes longer to post most of them, than it does to make the actual dxf files.
I've been busy around the house fixing things (Ahhhh, the joy of a layoff... )
Anyone notice this thread is about to hit 1 million page views?

Hello Switcher, nice additions to your blog! Thanks for the great designs. I recently made a paper index (old school) of all the dxf's I've gotten from here. I bought a 2" ring binder to keep them in (should have been a 4"). By the way "solid works e drawing" works great for that!
We've got a b-day party coming up that we plan to have a karaoke system set up. We had a little get together the other night to try the system out and I thought I would make up some plaques as prizes for things like..."most out of tune"....most likley to make the dogs howl....best air guitar....worst duet by a couple.
Did I say b-day party....may be more like a roast

Dan,
I use the same thing (solid works e drawing), it does work good.
I would win that one, for sure!..."most out of tune"....
Sounds like fun.

Does anyone know a good process for shinning aluminum? I'm working on my windshield brackets and I can get to the highest parts ok with progressive sand paper up to 12,000 grit, but the area below the horse needs some help. I want to make it a little more of a mat finish then the horse, but my fingers just don't fit into the small spaces.

A little show and tell, here are a few desk name plates I've been spending my spare time on.

Dan,
You might try a dremal tool, to polish that alum.?
Great looking projects!

Find a local machine shop with a “ bead blaster ” using walnut or almond shells. These leave a matt finish, and will remove most of the small tool marks. You may find a shop that will do it for a few $$, or swap work for work.
Hope this helps you. Nice looking horse!
