How do you guys converts a logo from a .gif, or .jpeg to cuttable .dxf geometry? I am trying to cut some logos out of stone on our waterjet. Any help at all would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

There are many posts starting back at #2683, & continuing in November, that explain a method using Inkscape & Switcher's R12 plug-in.

A review of those should be helpful to you.

I just downloaded Hycad and used its raster to vector convertor. I have corel X4 and I think Hycad is faster and better. I will have to experiment more but it made a great vector from a free dover jpeg download. I will try to attach the EPS file.

your waterjet software should have a load image or import image then you have to vectorize with same program to get the cut lines. currently i run a flow waterjet and have done this many times
