when you open a file in mastercam you must tell it the extension their should be a drop down to be able to select autocad .dwg or .dxf try this ( select ) open (for file) go to where you stored the file if the box is blank look at your slecton window click on one of the arrows then a drop down should let you select dxf or dwg then select your file master cam should load it from their

    Welcome to CNC Zone!

One method that might interest you has been discussed earlier in the thread.

    Check posts # 2733, #2747, #2783 etc. by "Switcher".

-Scan or photograph the poster board.
-Open image in Inkscape software & trace path.
    -Save using Switcher's DXF R12.

The better the original image, the cleaner the DXF will be.

    Thank You
The process is called raster to vector.

The best one that I've ever found is Corel's Corel Trace. =)

I dont know if it works on 3d... but there is also a plugin for converting DXF into CNC files...its called the Phlatscript. it was designed for a foam cutter that machines foam from the bottom... SO if you use this the Z axis has to be reversed in the code... but it is freeware... get it here http://www.phlatprinter.com/viewtopi...e5d209f42e972f works on version 6 and 7 of Sketchup as well as Swirchers plugin find.

    Arrow Knot?

This might not be a knot!

    Single line tool path, V-bit.

Inside cuts .125" deep, outer ring .160" deep.

Photograph is the file cut in MDF.

    Default WAHOO GAME

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has a .dxf of a 6 player wahoo game. As always I have been trying to draw one up but can't seem to get it right. I am planning to make another WAHOO board that has a 4 player version on one side and a 6 player version on the other side. Here is a picture of a 6 player game. Thanks in advance.

    Arrow Six Player Board

This 6 player board should work for you & fit on the back side of the 4 unit one.

I'll be looking forward to another picture of this one.

Eight players might be a few too many!
