You're right Erik...this is a great site, but it doesn't have the seal, it does have several logos.
Thank you. I'm sure I will use it in the future.

A friend of mine want me to make this into a front vanity license plate. This is a non profit organization that takes kids with illnesses into the outdoors. Hoping that someone can help me help them

Thinking of embossing or just engraving.

Thanks man. I just need to get the engraving or embossing. I haven't decided which will look best. Are you guys doing this in BobArt? I have Bobcad v22 I should get art I suppose.

    Default Atrolabes, sundials and trigonometry

I am interested in making an ‘Astrolabe’, which is a highly engraved brass plate navigation instrument, which was used for many years. The National Maritime Museum in London has many great pictures on it’s website. Complex portable, universal, sundials are also an interest ( 4 or 6 inch diameter). (cadrans solaire – an useful site). These projects seem ideal for a small CNC. I am just a beginner and I am trying to relearn my trigonometry and can use excel and have produced a simple trig. calculator for finding the points on an arc of a circle in Cartesian coordinates. Please check the results on a rough piece of paper before cutting and make sure the axes are positive or negative as expected. If anyone is interested in collaborating to produce some user free code, let me know. A good mathematician would simplify the project no end!
