Adel, I take drawings and scan them into the computer as jpg files. Than take Wintopo (Freeware) and convert the jpg to a dxf for use with the my cam programs. It works ok on the chinese stuff I've done.

Good god after all that, any way this is what you get. Refering to the Chinese Letters.

Looking at your attached picture, I can tell you that there is no correlation at all between the alphabets and the Chinese characters. Web translation may help at times but we all know that it is not that accurate at all.

If someone needs specific Chinese characters for certain English words, let me know and I'll send you or upload the correct words.

Just to illustrate and let you know the pitfalls of using Chinese characters without understanding its meanings.

Below are 3 very similar Chinese characters that sounds and pronounce almost exactly the same but have totally different meanings:

媽 妳 好 - Mother, how are you?
你 好 嗎 - How are you?
你 媽 好 - How is your mother?

This started as the scrapbook Chinese font posted above,

typed into Corel Draw,

exported as a JPG file,

opened in Inkscape & path traced,

saved as Switcher's DXF R 12.

Characters are :
Top line A to I
Mid-line J to R
Bottom S to Z

Thanks everyone for the advice and especially the uploads. I found what worked was to get the characters into a raster , e.g. Jpg, etc and then to import into a demo copy of BOBART, and then vectorise into BOBCAM to produce the CNC code.

Just to show you that I used your DXF also switcher. Cut much more quickly and the DXF looked great at that small size.
