    Arrow Geckos

I imagine you mean the geckos shown in the attached photo. They are 22" long, cut from 16 Ga. mild steel.

Two with an oxidized finish are in an outdoor garden, & two more with the polished surface shown, are for decoration in my home.

As mentioned in the contest forum, this is "reverse procreation" since my machines electronic controls, that made the cuts, contain 3 Geckodrives.

(Great work on the 3D carvings shown in your project log.)

    Default Thank You Weldtutor

If you don't mind my asking what program are you using to draw these with.
I have only used CamBam and I don't think it will give me that option of grabbing a node and altering the shape.

    Thank You.

The ovals I posted were drawn with progeCAD.

An "ellipse" was used, not an "arc", to get the shape.

    Default CamBam Oval Test

Try the attached file in CamBam to see if the shapes can be altered, & let me know.

This has been saved as a Dwg file not a DXF.

I found as you did, that the DXF save could not easily be altered, but these DWG files can be.

    Thanks, WT

This is a "Welcome" sign I made working with Inkscape.

    1) The Font is "Stencil"

    2) The design on the bottom is from a font/dingbat.

Great plaques you have created. Thanks for the pictures.

It's nice to see the work done from files contributed here.

It's oak mdf, cut with a 90 engraving bit, depth.7, surface top .75, clear coat, black coat, sand, clear coat, top coat.

They do make colored mdf but its just so expensive to buy and you have to buy it by the bunk. So a little more work involved. Made 30 of each and only took a couple of hours in the finishing.

Also my brother actually painted the T and colt logo. I do not have pictures of those yet.

What is possible? What you will!

I wish we got more of that.

I like the way you have put that to use...good job putting the final touches on that file!! They look good.

I found a new font "Abilene", (well it's new to me ) looks kinda western.

I had to try it out with Inkscape.
