Here it is as a dxf, perhaps you can clean it up some and use it?

i have to cut this into a thin pc of plastic and put a lite behind it.the font here is good because i can pocket it thru and the letters are still attached to the main pc./quote]

Here is a DXF of another font you could use. It is called Marlin normal TT. I included a sample in the DXF so you can check out the letter shapes. If you want the font, just PM me and I will sent it to you.

Does anyone have a fleur de lis? I tried drawing the .dxf...no banana.

Or can someone convert this pic to .dxf for me? I just need the outside cut path for plasma.

    Thanks, Dave

I have a good time working on the files, & enjoy sharing them with everyone.

I posted a new file today (Design 75), I left the bottom half blank, should be enough space If anyone wants to add some text.

This is great! Thank you so much for the help.

By the way, is it to much to ask? how did you manage to convert the file? What is the way to do it?

    Thanks,

go to www.inkscape.org and download inkscape. Its a free app that will vectorize bitmaps. There are other apps that people use but i like it, and with no disrespect to the other poster of the file i think it does a better job. Although i started first by gettingthe pic from the link and didn't like it and went to the smaller one you posted and used it.

Hello all, I have been trying some of the files posted and they have been coming up as many subpaths/objects in my cnc software, I have imported the files into Corel Draw X3 and when I look @ the nodes they are not joined. I have been joining the small line segments with the node tool by clicking and draging the nodes together but some of the files are showing upwards of 1000 - 1500 objects/ line segments. Does anyone have an Idea as to how the line segments can be joined in an easier step?

Next, would .plt files be usefull to anyone out there?:

    Thanks
