    Default Machine layout

I have a new site. It has new lights, new roof and other good things.

This is a basic question. How do you recommend to install the conventional lathes?

I have three lathes and my first choice was to put them together. The problem is that if one operator uses the coolant it will be sprayed all over the next operator because he's back will be facing the lathe machine. Chips will be flying all over his head and back.

Any book or text that can tell you how to align (or install) lathe machines?

I also have a CNC lathe but it has built-in walls so chips and coolant are no trouble.

You can setup the lathes back to back and you can built partitions and or guads that will prevent fluid and chips from splashing and flying evrywhere.

    Best regards
