Question Need help in upcoming project....

    Hi there,

one of my customer ask me if i can cut 3 mm innox with the cnc router machine (she is very strong but normally
i cut only wood and im not really motivated to put water on the cnc table)...

can i cut 3mm inox? what kind of bit should i use? what speed should i work and how many step down should i move in a case i use 6mm bit?
wht other rules should i respect when working with innox? and what i have to know before starting?

    thx....

Know how to say "no". There's no way you're going to do a good job of cutting innox (stainless steel) with a 6mm bit in a router, even if you've got a very strong one. Send that customer to a machine shop; maybe they'll return the favor and send you someone who needs some parts made in wood.
