Bed size question on eBay 40W engravers

In regards to the 40W eBay lasers (300x200mm engraving area) that sell just under $1000...

I need to engrave a small (1"x3") company logo in the corner of rectangular flat stock that is 12"x9" (305mm x 229mm), 1/4" thick. Would this stock fit in this machine being a little bigger than the actual engraving area?

You're right! I'm actually working with bamboo :-)

I spoke to gweike and I'm ordering an LG3040 with 60w upgrade, the bed size and software difference seemed to justify the upgrade. Just working out the minor details and optional upgrades then I should be all set! Haven't read much on this machine in particular but have read good things about gweike and they have been very responsive and helpful with my questions. Looking forward to it!

Good choice. I had one with a 60W tube. It did great service.
