Hi, i have recently got a 3040 rabbit laser, i got it from the uk, the guy who sells them came and set it up for me , showed me how to use it etc, he set it up for me on ply, balsa and perspex no problems at all

Now im cutting various strange materials to see what it can cut, im wondering if thres a trick to any of them, how would i use nitrogen to stop flames, is it just a very fine tube from the nitrogen regulator directed to blow the gas at the area being cut, or do i bleed it in under the table?, should i use nitrogen at all?

balsa and other woods and i have no problems most of the time if i set it correctly i can get nearly no burn at all
Perspex, i have no problems at all, just cuts and engraves fine
Paper and cardboard , no problems

Depron, i can engrave it fine, but turn cut speed down or power up and i melt or burn it?
ABS , not a chance, it just burns?

Im thinking i should be using a gas to extinguish the flame?, even on balsa?

has anyone had these problems / have any ideas on how to set it (using newlydraw) to cut depron or abs without burning?
