How to modify HPLG file to compensate for the speed variation of my laser engraver ?
My problem is simple.
My laser engraver (RS3040A) does not move at a constant speed (especially when the speed is high).
This has for effect when using vector file (.plt) to have some lines very dark and some others almost absent.
The problem is present when lines are long compared to smaller segments. Especially when they are horizontal or vertical.
I cannot increase more the laser power because I will burn some parts…
The only solution I have now is to use the slower speed.
I search a tool able to read HPGL or maybe another format like DXF and insert intermediate points between every long lines.
A line divide in multiple segment slow my laser speed.
This should give a better result with homogenous lines.
I am open to suggestions
Thanks
