My guess would be the tube. One way to damage a tube is to let the water temperature warm over about 20 degrees.

Hello, I.m from Venezuela, and I am having issues with ny 60w laser cutting machine. It is one bought from Ebay, supposedly it is a KH-750.
I purchased it over a year ago and it was working fine until the past week. Usually I cut 3mm MDF and 3mm Acrylics. The speed for the MDF is 10mm/sec at a 60% power. Suddenly the machine stopped working at those parameters, and tu cut again the Mdf, I had to set the machine at a 4mm/sec speed at 30% of power. When I try to fire the laser at 60%, it wont leave any mark on the MDf, as if it wont fire at all.
I cleaned the mirrors and lenses, aligned them everything else seems fine.
Maybe its the power supply? Or the CO2 tube is weaing off?
The machine is properly grounded and it work fine over the past months without any major issue.
Any opinion or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
(sorry for my bad english)
Cheers,

Rigging an ammeter in series with your tube will help narrow down the source of the problem too. You can at least test to see if the power supply is outputting the correct current.
