Default Whats the point in choosing Mark Vs. Cut on my 50W Chinese Laser?

    Hey Guys,

Just got my 50W Chinese laser machine and I'm using it with a software called LaserDRW.
The laser power is set on the machine from 0 to 99.99 (percent I guess) so what is the point in choosing Mark vs. Cut if the only difference is the power of the laser which is not set by the software anyway?
Also, that means that I can't engrave AND cut a material in a single job right?

    hi
you can add layers first to engrave and the next to cut but only works if you can find a happy engrave speed to suit the power of the cutting power you have set ( I know it sucks)

It's good that I don't use this feature and only cut simple plexiglass squares...
