Need some serious help

I have occasionally read some Laser post in various forums for the past 10 years but never had a laser so was not really serious.

Now more or less out of the blue I own a laser.

I bought it off ebay, supposedly in working order but there is no lens or final aperture.

The laser has a flexible Fiber Optics patch cable but there is nothing terminating it.
I "believe" the end is just a FC/PC connector.

What and where do I get a terminator? What do I need? Links to products really appreciated.

It really appears to be a nicely made unit.

This is not laser for direct cutting or engraving so there is no way to add any lens.

Thanks for the reply, I will learn the logic of your comment but for now let's just talk about a lens.

Here is what I have:


I have a flexible patch cable with FC/PC or SMA905, this is a threaded end. I am picturing a lens holder with the same thread. I will try to determine the thread looks like a fine thread 8mm.

Do you know a source for such a lens or any lens for that matter, possible I will have to make up a holder.

We will talk about "is not laser for cutting or engraving" later.

Here is what I was looking for!!

I also found them on Edmunds Optics but they cost twice as much on Edmunds.

If I can actually get things to work I can go to higher quality.
