    Exclamation K40 Laser cutter echo

Ive been having an issue today with my K40 Laser cutter.

When cutting, i am getting an echo of my cut slightly off to one side, so if im cutting a circle, it will burn a shadow of a circle just off to the right WHILST it is cutting the circle it was meant to cut, i am dumbfounded at how this is happening. Im thinking something is directing the light to 2 points.... but how?

Beam could be reflecting off something like an air assist nozzle if you have one, cracked lenses etc.

Usually it's because your beam isn't centred through the nozzle. Check your mirror alignment along the full path of the beam. Your beam is reflecting off something it shouldn't, usually it's clipping the inside of the nozzle causing a lighter secondary parallel mark
