I have a GWeike LC1490 80w laser and have been recently having some power issues. I have solved a lot of the issues, then noticed today that this part was caked with soot. It looks like a diode of some kind. Once I cleaned it up it worked better. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Looks like a mirror to me or perhaps a red dot arrangement. Do you know what a diode is?

It is a beam combiner to let the red dot and laser shoot through the same mirrors and lens.
