Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my trusty no-name 40W desktop laser for a bigger unit that can cut bigger pieces - a 1390 hits the sweet spot for space and price.

I have seen a number of machines that have the ability to feed large pieces - like a whole sheet of ply or acrylic - through to the table so you can continue the cut.

But... how? Do I cut my design into pieces the size of the machine and then manually jog back to the origin point, submitting the second job after moving the material and jogging?

Im concerned with accuracy when moving material and jogging back to the continuation point.

I will be replacing the controller with a more adept one, so the capabilities of the stock controller will be moot - I can use whatever I want.

FWIW I live in Asia and will be sourcing from somewhere in China.
