Technician need to service laser engraver that I bought used
I bought a used laser engraver that I haven't been able to use in nearly a year because I can't get the alignment correct. I have bought a new tube, done advised adjustments. When doing a test that is supposed to make and cut out a ruler, it doesn't make any marks until then end, and it will outline/burn the outline of the ruler, but not cut it.
I'm wondering if there is anyone in my area (Northeast Texas, near Tyler) that I could hire to come out one day to work on my machine. I really want to get it working, but I'm at a loss as to what else to do. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can find a local technician? The original owner bought the machine from Jamieson Laser in Wisconsin, I think, and they don't have techs in our area. And I'm not paying/risking any money to ship it off to them. In the past 9 months, I bought a new tube, new optic, and had to replace several screws and bolts that were missing.
Please PM me if you know of anyone. I'm willing to pay someone reasonably to come to our shop and fix it.
