Engraving and Cutting Laser Machine

Hi,

I want to ask if any of you came across this problem when cutting MDF (3.5 mm and above it) with laser cutting and engraving machine of max power 130w.

The problem is, that the cutting process doesn't cut trough the whole material. Also when the laser beam makes its path there is a flame of fire getting out of the material all over the line. I just want to know if anyone knows anything about it, because I can't find anything that would cover this issue.
