Default Laser etching a double image

    Hi there,

Just unwrapped my shiny new laser (chinese & ebay) and when I etch things I'm getting a double image.

I have used a laser in my local hackspace so I have some experience of operation but not really any maintenance. I've done a bit of a test with masking tape and it seems like all the mirrors are central. It has never not done the double image so I think it must be something like alignment but I'm not sure what to do.

    Help?

Edit: Be gentle with the technical language, pretty please.

    1.
    2.system setting
3.for example: speed300 reverse0.06 you need calibration again and again.
    4.different speed different reverse interval
you can scan a word to calibration
