180w optics upgrade questions

Upgraded 100 watt CO2 laser to 180w. Orginal optics are 20mm focal lens. Having issues getting good cut. All optics have been aligned, cleaned. New power supply installed. In testing the cone below the focal lens is getting really hot. Re-confirmed alignment in down tube is good. Could it be the focal lens is too small in diameter? Do we need to upgrade the down tube, focal lens, and mirrors to larger diameter? Stumped on this one! Any suggestions greatly appreciated. This machine is a Automation Tech Chinese laser.

Dear Gshimer,

The laser beam of 180W tube is bigger than that of the 100W, you need use the 25.4mm diameter focal lens.
