Default Etching issue. Picture within :)

I've been trying to figure out my laser and am having some difficulties. Whenever I test my laser out I get an image that's split in two. Any advice on how to fix this? There's a picture for reference.

    Thanks!

Could be any one of a number of reasons.

Basic things to check first would be :

    Are the mirrors aligned properly.

Is the laser mounted at a perfect 90 degrees to the bed.

Is the laser gantry parallel to the bed.

Is the material you are engraving flat and does it move when the ventilation system is on if you have one installed.

Another thing to check is the image file itself: is the logo 100% black where you want it to cut or is it ever so slightly graduated ie off black on the right? Doesn't look like it but worth checking.

If non of these are applicable then perhaps there is an issue with one or more of your hardware components, such as a faulty psu, tube etc.
