Hello guys, we acquired this machine a little over a month ago. I have been able to get it cutting pretty darn good for as old of a machine as it is. One thing that has been bugging me though is there are some sort of software limits in place that limit the X axis at 119.1" or so. I don't understand why someone would do this as the machine is capable of over 125" on the X axis. I can see the calibration folder and values, the problem is they seem to be in some sort of parameter matrix or something. Is anyone familiar with these or happen to have a SERVICE manual that they might be able to throw my way?
I'm in the midst of bending our Platino to my will too lol.
I'm not at work and just forget the exact model.
For our model (couple of years old) system variables #(CORSAXPOS), #(CORSAXNEG), #(CORSAYPOS), #(CORSAYNEG) store the machine limit coordinates as decided by Prima. I haven't tried assigning values to these yet. Would be handy to push the cutting envelope out a bit more. I haven't discovered how these variables are assigned during bootup either.
