Chinese Laser not Engraving

Hi,

Sorry but I' m new in chinese Laser. I bought few month ago a chinese laser engraving.

I installed it well but it's don't engraving anything (wood, bamboo, leather, cardboard, rubber paper, seal, paper, plastic (ordinary mobile phone shell).

I don't know what I have to do. So can you help me please.

Is that a horse you made or did it come with the machine? Unfortunately I don't have any experience with that style of laser but I've always wondered how something measured in mw would engrave anything compared to CO2 lasers which start at 40w (or 25w for north american). I'd start with some thermal paper (receipt paper) and see if you get anything going slow.
