    Default Laser Cutter Edge Shape

Possibly a silly question, The Laser cuts at 90 Degree to the bottom of the material, is there a method of taking off the sharp top edge? I was thinking maybe offsetting the shape by 1mm and make 3 Passes the first, 3mm deep, the second pass 2mm and the 3rd pass 1mm which would give a slight aris to the top edge. One way to do a quick chamfer is doing a second pass on the same vector lines but adding a Z defocus plus maybe a different power level. Depending on the machine it might not be easy to do. But it's doable. This wouldn't be a perfect 45° chamfer though.
