If your laser consistently moves the incorrect distance, then your "step length" is incorrect. To correct it, do this:

    1. Open RDWorks.
    2. Select the menu item "File/Vendor Settings"
    3. Enter the password (should be RD8888).
    4. You can try entering "22.57349" for the step length for X and "22.57532" for Y. (these are my settings, yours may be be different due to a different stepper, controller, and belt wheels).
    5. Create a box that is 100mm x 100mm, cut it into a piece of acrylic or wood. Measure the cut in X and Y.
    6. Select the menu item "File/Vendor Settings"
    7. Enter the password (should be RD8888).
    8. Click on the 3 dots next to the item "step length". Set "Graph Length" to 100 (mm) and enter your measurement for X in the "Measuring Length". When you hit "Ok" and it should recalculate the "step length" for you.
    9. Do the same thing for Y.
    10. Keep in mind that the laser also has a "kerf" which is the width of the cut, so if you know the kerf you can adjust your measurements accordingly.
    11. Cut the square again and it should measure 100mm x 100mm.
