Hi Everyone
i have a 50w co2 laser engraver/cutter. it has been going quite well until last night, it seems the cooling cap which goes on the end of the tube where the laser comes out has come off (picture below) during cutting, i tryed to put it back on but i now seem to have very little power and the beam seems to be wider. i am suspecting that when the cooling cap came off it caused the end class to overheat and go frosty as it seems to be less clear than i would imagine it should be. or on the other hand maby the cap coming off is a symptom not a cause??
i have tyred doing some searching but as i dont know what things are called it is not being very helpfull,
my main fear is that i purchase a new tube and it does not fix the problem.
thanks for you advice
Taderz
