Sheet metal thickness measuring

We stack bundles which are never the same with various thicknesses of steel. I'm looking for a way to double check this size to see if the correct steel was loaded up.

There has to be others out there doing this. What or how do you get the job done?

I'm not sure if you mean thickness in mm, inches or gauge. If you need to know what "gauge" it is the calipers mentioned in the last post should be fine in conjunction with a chart like this one.
