K40 laser help

Just bough k40 from ebay been emailed laser draw which I have downloaded and managed to get working the problem is when you try to engrave anything over roughly 50mm the laser fades the picture and loses power until there is nothing there, if I engrave small under 50mm the picture is perfect.

Also I have been sent CorelLASER 2013.02 by email which I have downloaded but it will not let me open and comes up with a message saying The CorelDRAW(Ver<11)software not installed

Not sure what to do can anyone shed abit of light on this very annoying issue

Your laser beam is not aligned, right need to buy some two sided tape and adjust the beam. Plenty of threads on this site about it. Cant help on the other topic Good luck!

Also check the Lightobject forum for lots of good info. I would strongly suggest upgrading the crappy controller and software that comes with the laser with the Lightobject DSP kit. You will soon be very frustrated with what you have and you will be very happy with the Lightobject conversion.
