Fuses will normally blow if something is shorted. Make sure there are no wires touching each other to create a short. I have to go to work for awhile...will be back around 11PM. Best of luck to you.
turned it on and nothing then one of the steppers started to smoke... i hope i have not messed this up!!! did not blow a fuse and did get the right fuses the dsp didnt light up either should it of?
wow feeling defeated right now no clue on what to do at all. i doubled checked the wiring its all just like the diagram going to have someone else come over and look also to make sure. i think the dsp was faulty thats why it never powered on and in turned shorted out the stepper . trying to get a hold of the place that sold it to me to see if they is anything they will do since i bought it over seas i would say they wont help/respond
i have done my best to make it original now to take it back outside tomorrow and start it back up hopefully it will not burn up, glad i had pics of the wiring!!! so disappointed,,, lost about 400 bucks today
You only hooked up 24v from the new power supply to the DSP itself, correct? 120v should only go to the new power supply input and the inputs on the laser power supply.
i had the 120 going to the input .the laser going to the input and the dsp wired into the input just like the picture showed i hooked up a volt meter and it showed 24 v at the dsp
