    Default Multicam 6000 HPR260 Issues

    Hi all!

I'm looking to see if anyone has had similar issues of what we recently been having with our Multicam 6000 HPR260 down draft.

We are cutting .188" at 200amp and 230ipm. We have been cutting like this for years with no issues whatsoever until recently.

It will make it's pierce and the arc will stay on and the X and Y will do nothing. It will take the arc a good 5-6 seconds to lose sense and terminate the arc. This happens about every 20 pierces or so but is random as it will do it consecutively too. Doesn't matter if its executing a hole or a piece. After malfunction the pendant fails to display any commands and will not let you continue. Then it requires a proximity restart to get to where you left off on the program as it seems to completely lose the CNC file.

Interface and CNC seem to have a good connection. Seems to be only 200amp with the issues.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Ian

Sounds like the CNC may not be receiving the OK to Move signal from the HPR when cutting starts. Or the HPR is sending the signal but the CNC does not enable the drives

Still have not found the issue. It has now done it on 130amp and 260amp, which makes sense because it shouldn't be process specific. I'm going to chase down some power supply boards to make sure the Interface and communication boards are getting sufficient voltages. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.
