    Default Dxf Problems

I thought about buying Deskart as a 'fun' program but after trying the demo...... I backed away. I tried making several dxf files to try machining and I cannot get one single file to open in Visual Mill that is saved as a DXF...... I dont even think it would open in Rhino......... too bad it looked like a good little program ........

You could try deskCNC, I think it is a compilation of all these programs into one, with a little tweaking. I played with it a bit, but with no 3d routing abilities yet, I never got as far as exporting the DXF. It might be better though?!

    Wink How to see DXF's

What i have done to see this work is create the dxf...and open it...you can do this in a number of programs...ok...word... notepad...etc...now copy and paste this gcode file into an existing gcode file you've created...and you should be able to view it...

Yes his programs have some really good features, But they are full of bugs. It's like he is a very good programmer, but doen't finish or test them before offering them to the public.
