Default Stepper motors not moving with PoStep 60 Drivers

    Hi guys,

Wired up some new drivers for my CNC 6040 and they don't seem to be moving at all. I have a Planet CNC Mk3/4 Controller connected to 3 drivers for X, Y, Z control. I'm using a 24V 10A power supply. I have tried switching the stepper motor wires around, but that isn't solving the issue. Opened up the PoStep configuration to set the motor's current to 3A as rated, still no movement or control. There are no error lights flashing etc, so any ideas as to what the issue could be?

    Thanks

Wouldn't the Planet CNC people be your first call for support? Failing that, here are a few ideas:
    1. Take a picture so we can see the wiring
    2. Use a multimeter to measure where power is and is not getting.
    3. Make sure you are reading the manual, and following all the steps. Post which steps you've taken here and maybe we can figure out a misunderstanding.

Are you driver set to the correct A as the stepper motors? mine was set too low on a little jumper on the driver board, once I changed this to the same rating as the stepper motors it worked fine. Just an idea mate
