    Default CNC Control Case

My CNC controls are in an old computer case but with the Arduino + terminal block, 4 drives, 3 PS (48v, 12v and 5v) this is pretty packed up and the wiring looks more like a spaghetti bowl than a CNC control box.

I have to add a 24v PS, DIN mounted terminal blocks and relays but for this I need another case.

I've looked at real control enclosures made of metal but it is out of my price range.

I know that it's not ideal, but I'm thinking of making a case made of wood.

Any precautions I need to take?

    Thanks

    Fred

Good air flow to extract heat, that's about it.

    cheers, Ian

    It's a state of mind!
