This must mean it's good. No news is good news.

Not necessarily... On another machinist forum I frequent I've read shop owners say that one of the things they wish they never did was sign up for mfg.com... They say it's a race to the bottom.

I have read some very old posts on this subject but have seen nothing that is new on this subject.

just make the math before you sign up..
their fees for a mall shop might not affordable.. while a large shop just write it off if something goes awry..
make sure you can cancel it anytime if you don't like.. paying a year long what doesn't work for you, can be tough...
I think I'll stay away , looks like a farce.

They keep spamming the crap out of my in box

of course they do it...
because they know, if you don't pay in advance then later you find it useless and wont pay them...
think practically.. when you sell your house the realtor ask nothing in advance..
AFTER I said AFTER the sale they takes their charge..
this should be same way... after you sell your labor, or sell your product they should charge you same way. AFTER
this simple fact shows they are not straight people..
I haven't personally looked into them simply based on what I've read. Do some searching and you'll find plenty of reviews....for the most part, they're not flattering.
Actually, there's an active thread on the other machining forum right now.
EDIT: Haha, I'm a thread bumping n00b. Mahbad.
Can't delete this post :/
our company spent over 4,000 USD for it,but nothing!
Same here, high pressure sales tactics, "one-time discount", no trial period, hard commitment for a year, no connection between cost/benefit.
Smelled a rat. Further emails -> SPAM
Tried them. Very bad experience. Which seems to be the typical story. Mitch Free sold Mfg.com a while back. Not that it was any better when he owned it.
