| 7A, 80V, 4, 6, or 8 wire motors. You might want to wait a month or so for the G204V drives.

| Basically the same as G201, but much more resistant to damage caused by miswiring, broken wire's, faulty steppers, etc.. The G201 and G210 are basically the same thing, are you sure you need the G210?

| what's wrong with the G210 ? well here is what I wanna do. I would like to make big CNC, like 1Meter Xaxis travel, 2Meter Yaxis travel and 50cm Zaxis Travel. mostly cut wood or epoxy/fiberglass. it's going to be moving table. about 150Kg load. advice me if you want, be my guest. I choose stepper because it's cheap. I choose moving table because it's cheap and lighetr than the gantri. I choose G210 because it's better than G201... right ? wrong ? rud |

| ok now I understood about that microstep, I thought G201 handle less microstep than G210. as long as I have powerful CPU than I can do microstep like G210. I just read the article that just posted, G204 will be like unkilled motor kind of stuff. you can;t broke the motor because of miss wiring if using G204. bu the price higher than G210. to bad. thanks for your info. but I was right choosing the stepper right not the servo because of the cost. but I will double the torque req. just for the insurance, now I'm looking for the right stepper, I think about 1500-2000oz, don' t know which one to buy. rud |
