Is the 201x stepper driver made by Gecko. There advertising as a presale in the marketplace?
I would like to make sure it is real.

The G201X will only be released after we get a pending delivery on the anodized aluminum covers and after they come back from the cover artwork screeners. We never do pre-sales as a matter of company policy; it's never a good idea to commit to a sale before you have the merchandise to sell.:-)

OK, let's not jump on the guy just because he's thinking outside the box. Frankly I admire his enthusiasm and trust in our product. He is just positioning himself before the product becomes available. There is nothing wrong with that. He said 2 weeks and that's not a lie.

My only reason for posting on this subject was to let people know there are no G201X drives available anywhere right now from anyone until we release them. We have 2,000 G201X drives manufactured and tested and ready to go. All they need are the new snazzy bronze colored covers with a tasteful white colored silk-screened artwork legend. They should look very nice.

Until we get the covers, nobody has any except us and a few beta testers. When the covers come in, everyone that wants one can have one. I think they will be terrific drives. I designed them and we have tested them every which way to Sunday and they come up winners.

I wasnt being wary of your product. I was concerned about the realism of the ad placed becaus of the post count of the user. I want to buy your product but I want to protect myself aswell. I'm just wondering if your company will be doing a presale like this person was advertising?

Has anyone here on the forum purchased any of these drives? I can see several people have at least viewed the classified ad.

I sent a message to the reseller and have not received a response.

Is there any shipping and handling charges????

We got 2,000 bronze-colored cans in today and they go to the artwork silk-screeners tomorrow. That means tons of G201X drives available this coming Monday.

I'm waiting for the Canadian dollar to go back up. I don't think you will have any problems with the drives. There was someone offering them at $99 dollars which i would of liked to buy them for that, but I never got word from that person selling them in the classifieds.
