Has anyone tried adapting a Mitutoyo DRO for use with CNC milling machine. I would like to use the linear scales I already have mounted on my machine. Talk about zero backlash. Found a pdf file on Mitutoyo site on scales, will study it and check against my hardware. I was hoping I would be able to plug directly into the recorder outputs. |

| Mitotoya usually can be adapted as the ones I have used have had +5v differential output. You may have to reverse engineer the channels, IIRC the + and common is red & black so just power it up and check with a meter or scope. Al
