I just built a new table and power supply and I am having problems. I hooked the motors up on controller and adjusted them and they seemed fine. I then installed them on the machine. They jog around the table fine. But when I run code and both x an y are running it becomes very jerky. I can disconnect x or y and run code and it works fine on one at a time. The way I had to build the table my steps in Mach3 are low 1720. My power supply is 33v and filtered 22,000uf 50v. When I jog and axis and I'm holding it is very strong. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Ed Found problem. Had encoder wire and motor power wire to same ground. Disconected encoder ground and it is perfect.
